Description

Diamond points are extremely hard and lasts longer than tungsten carbide. They are frequently used on granite, marble, jigs, internal grinding and precision grinding of small holes in carbides, glass, ceramics, sapphire, tough super alloys and different hard crisp non-metal materials.

For longer tool life and improved finish, use a water or oil soluble mist or coolant.

Shapes:

  • Cylindrical for grinding bores, radii and contours.
  • Special shape ZY for grinding slits or grooves in hard-to-reach areas.
  • Spherical often used for engraving, contour grinding and deburring in manual applications.
  • Special shape KU for deburring plastic profiles.
  • Cylindrical with radius end best suited to manual applications for variety of deburring and grinding tasks.
  • Pointed tree used for machining small holes, bores, and engraving work.
  • Cup shape is ideal for work on profiles, planar surfaces and ledges, without the cylindrical surface being damaged.
  • Conical pointed is suited to deburring bores, regrinding centring holes and chamfering.
