Description
Electroplated diamond cut-off wheels are used with grit sizes from D 64 to D852 for cutting hard materials such as tungsten carbide or ceramics fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP) and cast iron. When cutting glass, ceramic or tungsten carbide, use fine grits D64 or D151.Cutting plastics and pre-sintered ceramics use the coarser D357 or D427 grits. The grit is D852 is used for machining grey and nodular cast iron.
