Description
Consist of spiral-shaped, non-woven abrasive which is wound around a core and foamed up. The foam supports the non-woven component and positively impacts tool life and abrasive performance. The specific bond results in non-woven wheels with a very good surface finish, high stock removal rate and long tool life. These properties are particularly apparent when deburring, blending, finishing and polishing soft metals, alloyed and high alloy steels, in addition to titanium products.
Size (dia mm x thickness mm):
Abrasive: Aluminium Oxide, Silicon Carbide
Grits: Soft, Medium-soft, Medium-hard, Hard, Extra-hard
Soft: Very good abrasive performance on contours. Very good for blending surfaces.
Medium-soft: Increased flexibility and extended tool life for tough blending, light deburring and polishing work.
Medium -hard: Increased edge strength and tool life, for tough deburring blending and cleaning
Hard: Very high stock removal, good edge strength and tool life for heavy duty deburring and polishing
Extra hard: Very high edge strength for demanding deburring
